Chuy is an excellent and experienced Fishing Guide and Boat Captain*.  He is local and has many years of fishing the East Cape waters. He speaks English well and has a great personality and sense of humor.  I have gone out with him many times and have enjoyed each trip.  

He is captain of a well equipped panga. (A panga is a Mexican style boat, between 22 and 27 feet long, usually an outboard.  It is a very stable and sturdy boat. See the attached picture)  Chuy's boat is a center console, 90 hp, 4 stroke engine.  He has fishing poles, lures and hooks available. You can pack you oun lunch or an American or Mexican lunch can be provided for a nominal charge. His rates are good and he provides great service.  At the end of your fishing day, a tip for the captain is customary.  A suggested range is 10% to 20% of the rate for the boat.  It also depends on how good you think his service was, not practically how many fish you caught.

If you want to catch fish and they are there, Chuy will find them.
